From Beirut to Dubai’s Skyline: Anthony Joseph Abou Jaoude’s Unlikely Rise

How a young man who grew up watching people settle for $500 a month became one of the UAE’s most recognized real estate names—and why his next chapter brings him back home.

There’s a moment in every entrepreneur’s journey when the story shifts—when ambition outgrows its environment.
For Anthony Joseph Abou Jaoude, that moment came in Lebanon, watching the people around him accept monthly salaries that barely covered rent.

“I saw everyone making $500, maybe $600 a month, thinking that was the ceiling,” he recalls. “And I just knew there had to be more.”

Born in the United States and raised in Lebanon, Anthony grew up between two opposing realities: one that encouraged gratitude for stability, and another that whispered about possibility. That tension stayed with him for years—until it became impossible to ignore.

In 2014, he made the decision that would redefine his life. With no guarantees and no safety net, he bought a one-way ticket to Dubai.

Landing in a City That Doesn’t Wait

Dubai in 2014 was already moving at full speed—cranes filling the skyline, deals closing fast, and an energy that rewarded only those willing to keep up. Anthony arrived without connections or capital, but with something equally powerful: relentless discipline.

He treated the real estate market like a full-time education. He studied developers, tracked emerging neighborhoods, observed buyer psychology, and learned exactly what made clients commit—or walk away.

He wasn’t chasing quick commissions.
He was learning the system.

Slowly, his consistency began to pay off. One client turned into five. Five into fifty. And before long, Anthony wasn’t just another broker in the market—he was someone developers trusted to represent their most important projects.

Four Years. Four Titles. One Reputation.

Between 2018 and 2021, Anthony achieved what few manage in Dubai’s hyper-competitive real estate industry: he was named Best Broker of the Year for four consecutive years by some of the city’s most influential developers, including Emaar, Dubai Holding, and Jumeirah Golf Estates.

Over the course of his career in the UAE, Anthony has successfully closed over AED 9.1 billion worth of real estate sales—a figure that reflects not just volume, but sustained trust from developers, investors, and high-net-worth clients alike.

In a market known for short memories and constant turnover, that level of consistency and scale speaks volumes. It wasn’t just about transactions—it was about reliability, credibility, and long-term value creation.

The Cost Behind the Climb

Success, however, came with its own challenges.

Anthony speaks candidly about the pressure—the competitors who tried to undercut him, the relationships that didn’t survive his rise, and the late nights questioning every major decision.

“Success attracts attention,” he says. “Not all of it positive.”

Instead of pulling back, he expanded his voice. He launched Dubai Stars, a podcast spotlighting entrepreneurs and innovators shaping the city’s future. He also authored Take Charge, an Amazon bestseller that distilled his philosophy into a simple but demanding message: take responsibility, embrace discomfort, and stop waiting for permission.

What’s Next: Building the Future Back Home

Today, Anthony Joseph Abou Jaoude is a respected name across Dubai’s real estate and entrepreneurial circles—not because of flashy branding, but because he earned that reputation through discipline and results.

But his next chapter marks a powerful shift.

Anthony has recently launched a real estate development and construction venture in Lebanon, returning to the country where his ambition first took shape. Through his company, Lebanon Luxury Estate, he is actively constructing luxury villas, chalets, and a landmark commercial tower, bringing international standards of design, execution, and project management to the Lebanese market.

This new chapter marks a transition from brokerage excellence to full-scale development—where Anthony is no longer just selling real estate, but physically shaping skylines and communities.

For Anthony, this move is both strategic and personal.

“Lebanon shaped my hunger,” he reflects. “Now I want to help shape its future.”

The venture represents more than expansion—it’s a full-circle moment. A return not out of nostalgia, but purpose. A decision to invest, build, and contribute where ambition once felt constrained.

A Story Still Being Written

Anthony’s journey proves that success doesn’t require perfect conditions—only the refusal to settle.

“You don’t need to be born into the right family or land in the right city,” he says. “You just need to stop blaming your surroundings and take responsibility for your life.”

It’s a simple idea.
But as his story shows, simple doesn’t mean easy.

It just means possible.
